Dbanji rapes Seyitan and kidnaps her!
It was alleged that the popular music star, Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D'banj raped and kidnapped his victim.
Twitter has been boiling hot with displeasure as everyone cries for justice for the victim, Seyitan Babatayo. There are two sides of the gist: The Premiumtimesng news and the gathering from Twitter.
It is gathered from Premiumtimesng that the rape act was said to have happened on December 31, 2018.
The accusation having being made on June 3, brought out the lady, Ms Babatayo to put down her accounts of the story.
She took to Twitter to announce the encounter with proofs and also demanded through her lawyers a public apology from the Music star, D'banj. Below is a short tweet of hers.
Having been notified, on the 15th of June, through his lawyer Mike ozekhome, D'banj sued Ms Babatayo for false allegations and demanded a compensation fee of #100 million.
In a letter signed by the senior advocate of Nigeria, Mr Mike Ozekhome, the singer's accuser was demanded to pay the sum within 48 hours or risk legal actions and also demanded to tender an apology letter with a retraction of her statements to be published in four national dailies.
Keeping a check on twitter, the air is freezing cold as there are questions to where Ms Babatayo could be. It can be denoted that she is being kidnapped from these tweets below.
Premiumtimesng has it that Ms Babatayo was being arrested, kept in the cell, intimidated and made to delete her tweets and treated badly at the station, Sodipo command Ikeja Lagos.
Tweets from twitter still have it that Ms Baabtayo was being kidnapped by the singer's team. They express how illegal the case is being treated and wishes safety for Ms Babatayo.
Gathering from Twitter, a tweet by women's advocate, Chioma Agwuegbo has it that Ms Babatayo was supposed to meet with @policeNG PPRO that morning to relay her story.
With the way ladies are being treated after the courage to let the cat out of the bag, do you think society is growing safer daily for the girl child?
Do you think the Police are having our back when it comes to justice and protection?
Women need more protection from all and sundry. If this is true, then the accused must be prosecuted no matter how highly placed he is. Again we live in a society where the rich get away with anything. I hope this is different for justice, equality and fairness.
ReplyDeleteI'm against rape, I believe it is a crime that should attract the right punishment under the law, however let's be logical in our reasoning at all times, that been said I avoid the sentiment that Dbanj is to be punished for rape, who did he rape, that lady that is half the beauty of his wife?, Dbanj is a celebrity for crying out loud, who can get any woman he wants with the snap of his fingers, and yet a lady claims he raped her, you all should be logical and not emotional about things that are obviously not authentic. The claim that Dbanj raped the lady is a facade, designed by her to extort money from him. Or aren't you all aware that women use fake claims of rape against men nowadays, it's convenient for them cos since rape is an ongoing problem nationwide, women have devised a plan to use rape to punish men unjustly. In my opinion the lady is a liar, Dbanj didn't rape her.
ReplyDeletethank you for the comment. Hopefully the truth will be out and everything will be resolved.
